Truly, the absolute BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever had! Tammy, she is delightfully warm & friendly, took my order for an Egg, Cheese & Sausage breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The large, fresh & fluffy croissant arrived steaming hot, generously stuffed with delicious scrambled eggs, melted cheese and sausage. I savored every bite - and it was a lot to eat! Did I mention the superb latte?? It was the perfect complement to the sandwich! And the easy, comfortable atmosphere completes the experience. Ah … this place is simply a little slice of Heaven on Earth. Just go - you’ll be happy :-)
I've been to the few Macondo spots in Miami and they never disappoint! The Coral Gables location is no different. Great food, amazing coffee and wonderful service. Our server was Odi and she was a delight!
Loved the vibe of this location of this small franchise! Nice decor, music, service, and the baked empanada and cappuccino we had were tasty. Ody our server was kind and hospitable. Very acojedor (cozy) and traditional Colombian folkloric vibe. Parking CAN be an issue in this area, so plan accordingly. Highly recommend!!
The restaurant is an excellent location, with plenty of items to pick from for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite. Friendly, attentive, and fast service that makes you feel at home. Plenty of photo opportunities for you and your loved ones.
Honestly, the food at this place is fantastic. I absolutely love the Gabo’s wrap. Every time I order it it’s perfect, but it takes 25-30 minutes to make. Even when the place is empty. Also, whenever I order coffee or Matcha the coffee is either wrong or the Matcha isn’t stirred and it’s clumpy. I will say when it is done right it’s fantastic. Probably the best Matcha in the Gables, but you never know when you’re going to get someone that takes the time to whisk it properly. Edit: recently started ordering coffee and matcha here again and the staff has significantly improved. They make amazing chai and matcha lattes now. The latte art is just a cute bonus.
I love this place! just ate the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Their food is delicious, their menu is huge, and the ambience couldn’t be better - chill, friendly and also interesting and colorful. The barista Tammy was really nice and got our slightly complicated order perfect. We’re from Boston, and it’s a good thing we live far away, because we’d be coming here all the time!
Was visiting my friend during finals week and she took me to Macondo so we could study. I fell in love! The food, the aesthetic, the workers, everyone and everything was great! My coffee empanada and arepa were chefs kiss! One of my new staples when in CG/Miami!
I’m just traveling in from out of state and Tammy was incredibly warm the service was exceptional not to even mention the pastry. I definitely recommend if you are in the area and was a chill and relaxing experience come here.
